Dr Saha urges party workers to intensify activities in booth level
Focusing on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha attended a booth ‘Sashaktikaran Abhiyan’ on Friday, a vital step in preparing for the forthcoming electoral battle.
The Abhiyan saw the active participation of office bearers, Shakti Kendra in-charges, and booth presidents from the 14-Badharghat Mandal, reflecting a collective effort towards reinforcing grassroots democracy.
During his address, Dr Saha urged the karyakartas (party workers) to proactively engage with the local people, understand their concerns, and effectively communicate the government's initiatives and achievements which will help BJP in gaining the bonding and support as well.
“We must secure victory in future elections by strengthening our organization at the booth level. Establishing strong bonds with the people and gaining their support is paramount. We must stay connected with people during their good and bad days. However, simply visiting homes isn't enough; we must forge meaningful connections and earn people's trust which will strengthen the party on a grassroots level”, he said.
Dr Saha also told the karyakartas to gift two lotuses to Prime Minister Narendra Modi by winning both the Lok Sabha seats with more votes than last time. He said that focus should be on creating powerful booths.
"By understanding and addressing the basic problems of the people, we can gain their unwavering support, ultimately benefiting our party”, he said.
During the meeting Dr Saha also shared his experiences and ideas with the karyakartas. On this day, MLA Mina Rani Sarkar of Badharghat assembly constituency and other party leaders were also present.
