The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) has extended financial assistance to support the treatment of Manushree, a young child from Hapania area, on the outskirts of Agartala who is scheduled to leave for New Delhi on Sunday for advanced medical care.
Manushree’s treatment requires substantial financial resources, prompting her family to seek public assistance. Responding to the appeal, DYFI launched a fundraising initiative, with its members and supporters contributing online according to their means. The organization also collected cash donations.
On Saturday, the collected funds were handed over to Manushree’s family by DYFI state secretariat member Gautam Ghosh, Arindam Biswas, Dukli Divisional Committee secretary Shubhankar Majumdar, state committee member Bijoy Biswas, and Hapania local committee secretary Ashish Chakraborty.
Speaking on the occasion, Gautam Ghosh wished Manushree a speedy recovery and appealed to all compassionate and well-wishers in society to extend financial support for the child’s treatment according to their capacity. He said collective efforts from the public could help the family meet the high cost of medical care.
