ECI appointed IGP, GS Rao as state nodal officer
The Election Commission of India (ECI) has designated State Police Nodal Officer (SPNO) to Inspector General of Police (IGP), G S Rao, who is now holding the charges of TSR and Operation of Tripura police.
A notification issued by the General Administration (Personnel and Training) said that in pursuance of the ECI latter dated November 14, 2023 and in the interest of public service, the Governor is pleased to order to GS Rao, IGP of Tripura police and designated him as SPNO for the state of Tripura in addition to his normal duties with immediate effect and until further orders.
