Eight Tripura police personnel get president’s police medals
Altogether eight Tripura police personnel have been selected for Police Medal for distinguished service and Police medal for meritorious service on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of Republic Day.
Significantly, as per the Union Home ministry’s list of the policemen for the medals has also included top police officials.
G S Rao, Additional Director General (ADG) has been named or the President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM) on the occasion of R-Day-2025
For the President's Police Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM) on the occasion of R-Day-2025 include Bijoy Debbarma (SP), Manik Das (SP), Panna Lal Sen (DSP), Ajoy Debbarma (DSP), Shyamal Debbarma (DSP) and Niranjan Debbarma (Subedar) .
Besides, Home Guard Roisiama Darlong has also been awarded with the President Home Guard and Civil Defence medal for meritorious service.
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha through his social media messages congratulated all Tripura police personnel and Home Guard on being named for President's Medals (PSM & MSM) on the occasion of 76th Republic Day.
