Final voter list published for all sixty assemblies, total voters 28, 56,925

As approved by the Election Commission of India (ECI),the Election department of Tripura has published the final Photo Electoral Rolls for all sixty assembly segments of the state on Friday  with base year of January 1st, 2024.

The office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Tripura  on Friday afternoon through a press communiqué said  that as per final publication of photo electoral rolls, the total voters stand at 28, 56,925 including male voters 14,35,172 female voters 14,21,679 and 74 third gender voters.

After publication of final voter rolls, altogether 32,218 new voter names have been enrolled under the age group of 18 to 19 years including 17,454 male voters, 14,758 female voters and 6 are third gender voters.

In the draft electoral rolls, the male-female ratio was 989, which in the final electoral rolls stood at 991. In the final electoral rolls, the names of dead voters, 13,231 were deleted from the rolls.

 The final publication of photo electoral rolls have been published in all designated locations including all 3,328 polling stations, all Tehsil offices, all offices SDMs and in the district election offices for inspection of public in general and those people were unable to participate in draft publication, can also enroll their name in the voter list during updation process of electoral rolls starting from January 6th, 2024, said Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Ushajen Mog.
