Five IAS officers including two DMs transferred
In a minor administrative reshuffle, five IAS officers including two District Magistrates (DMs) were transferred and posted in different administrative wings of the state government.
A notification issued by the General Administration (Personnel and Training) department of Tripura government on Tuesday said that incumbent DM of North Tripura district Debapriya Bardhan has been transferred as Special Secretary of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs department.
IAS officer Raval Hamendra Kumar, who is holding the independent charges of special secretary of Food department has been relieved from the charge and now he will hold the charge of Education (School and Higher) department.
District Magistrate of Khowai district, Smt. Chandni Chandan has been transferred as DM of North Tripura district and incumbent director of Urban Development, Rajat Pant has been transferred as new DM of Khowai district.
While, Municipal Commissioner of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC), Dr Shailesh Kumar Yadav has given additional charges of Director of Urban Development with few other additional charges like additional secretary of RD department (MGNREGA and Panchayats) etc.
