Flood Relief Donations: State unites in crisis
To support the state government in flood relief, many individuals, as well as MLAs, Ministers, and social organizations, came forward with donations on Tuesday.
Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha informed today, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury donated Rs 1,00,000, Chandra Sekhar Deb, Mandal President of Banamalipur, donated Rs 10,000, and Faculty Members of Tripura Medical College and Dr. BRAM Teaching Hospital donated Rs 1,00,000. Additionally, the Karmachari Sangha (TMC & Nursing College) donated Rs 30,000.
Apart from them, the Indian Dental Association (IDA) donated Rs 1,25,000, MLA Ratan Chakraborty donated Rs 80,000, the Sri Sri Ganesh Puja Committee of Kashipur donated Rs 50,000, Jagrata Sangha of Surjyamaninagar donated Rs 10,000, Arabinda Sangha of AD Nagar donated Rs 51,000, Kishalaya Ghosh & Miss Anwesha Ghosh donated Rs 30,000, Kanailal Acharjee donated Rs 25,000, Bishal Saha of Santipara donated Rs 10,001, and Biswajit Shil donated Rs 10,000.
Tripura SSA Teachers Welfare Association donated Rs 1,00,000, All India UCO Bank Divyangjan Employees Welfare Association: Rs 15,000, Santi Das: Rs 10,000, All TRLM Staff, RD Department: Rs 52,600, Jewels Association Rs 11,000, Puri Prasad Debbarma: Rs 5,000
Minister Ratan Lal Nath donated Rs 51,780, Tripura Natural Gas Co Ltd: Rs 10,00,000, Swapan Chandra Das(Retired Judge): Rs 50,000, Tripura Retired Doctor’s Association: Rs 50,000, Nabadal Banik, Chairman TIDC: Rs 35,000, Sanjit Ranjan Roy: Rs 10,000.
