While listening to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Mann Ki baat program at Bordowali Assembly Constituency.
Later, when speaking about the matter, the Chief Minister said, "We always eagerly wait to listen to PM Modi's Mann Ki Baat. The 103rd episode of Mann Ki Baat was held today. In each episode, he introduces new things to us that we never think of. All the topics he spoke about are very important."
Dr Saha mentioned that during the Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi spoke about "Nesha Mukta Bharat."
"Our Tripura Government is also working on the same. Yesterday, during a program, we highlighted how our government is combatting the issue of addiction. It's important to address this problem as it destroys families and society. Tripura is being used as a corridor," said Dr Saha.
In the Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi shared how the "Nesha Mukta" campaign can be facilitated through playing Football.
"We are also planning to implement some plans. Tripura is doing well in sports," said the Chief Minister.
He emphasized that with devotion and faith, nothing is impossible, a sentiment also mentioned by PM Modi in his Mann Ki Baat. PM Modi also mentioned that the USA has returned some rare items that belonged to our country during the Mann Ki Baat. He also shared thoughts about Yoga performance.
"We have learned many things from PM Modi's Mann Ki Baat, and in the coming days, our party, government, and people will work following his guidance," he added. During the program Mayor of AMC Dipak Majumder was also present.
