Govt reconstitutes 20 corporations, PSUs and organizations by appointing new chairpersons
Tripura government through separate notifications has reconstituted 20 corporations, public sector undertaking (PSUs) and organization of the government and appointed 20 new chairpersons by replacing former heads of the corporations, PSUs and organizations.
As per the separate notifications issued by various departments of the state government and signed by top administrative authorities by order of the Governor of Tripura, the incumbent president of state Mahila Morcha of BJP, Jharna Debbarma has been appointed as new chairperson of Tripura Commission for Women (TCW) by replacing Barnali Goswami.
Significantly, the present chairperson of Tripura Tea Development Corporation Limited (TTDCL) , Santosh Saha, who contributed his best for development of Tea industries in Tripura has been replaced by advocate Samir Ghosh.
BJP’s spokesperson Nabendu Bhattacharjee has been appointed as new chairman of the General Body of Society for Management of Cultural Complex under ICA department. The MLA from Nalchar assembly constituency Kishore Barman appointed as chairman of Tripura Handloom and Handicrafts Corporation Limited and Sukanta Ghosh , a BJP leader , has been appointed as Secretary of Tripura Sports Council, which was without a secretary for the past six months.
Senior BJP leader Ratan Ghosh has been appointed head of the Gomati cooperative Milk Producers Union and Tapash Majumder has been appointed as new chairman of State OBC Commission.

Shah Alam has appointed head of State Haj Committee, Balai Goswami has been appointed as chairman of Tripura Road Transport Corporation (TRTC) limited, Moboswar Ali, former CPI(M)MLA from Kailashahar, who joined BJP before last assembly elections has given the charges of state Wakf Board, MLA from Kalyanpur assembly constituency Pinaki Das Choudhury appointed as chairman of Tripura Scheduled Castes Cooperative Development Corporation Limited, MLA and former minister Rampada Jamatia appointed as chairman of Tripura Scheduled Tribes Cooperative Development Corporation Limited, leader of BJP’s Minority Morcha, Jasim Uddin as head of Minority Corporation.
MLA Pramode Reang appointed as chairman of Tripura Forest Development and Plantation Corporation (TFDPC) and MLA Shambu Lal Chakma appointed as new head of Tripura Small Industries Corporation (TSIC) and another ruling party MLA Mailafru Mog has been appointed as chairman of Tripura State Cooperative Union.
Former Minister and leader of BJP’s Kisan Morcha, Jawhar Saha appointed as chairman of Tripura Horticulture Corporation, Abhijit Deb as chairman of Tripura MARKFED, Tutan Das as chairman of Tripura State Co-operative Consumer Federation (AITORMA) and former bureaucrat Mrinal Kanti Nath who was once director of Information and Cultural Affairs (ICA) department before joining BJP has been appointed as chairman of Tripura Other Backward Castes Co-operative Development Corporation .
