House wife commits suicide after paramour posted objectionable photos in social media
A house wife on Friday committed suicide by hanging herself at Durjoynagar area under Airport police station after her paramour allegedly posted some objectionable photos of her in the social media platform.
Sources said that one housewife identified as Rina Das Datta (33) after her marriage had developed an illicit relationship with another person (Dipankar Debnath) of the same locality. Both had allegedly also developed close relationships and Dipankar had secretly taken some photographs of Rina Das Datta during their physical relations.
On Thursday, Dipankar had posted some these objectionable photos of Rina in a social media platform and Rina Das Datta after seeing such photos; she committed suicide in fear of social stigma.
On Friday, after postmortem, her mortal remains were handed over to her husband in presence of her parents and other relatives from the morgue of GB Hospital. While, speaking with media persons, husband and parents of deceased Rina Das Datta said that they will file an FIR against Dipankar Debnath for defame her and for abetment of suicide.
