Husband-wife suffered mysterious burn injuries, wife dies
In a tragic incident, one young couple suffered critical burn injuries at their house in Paikhala village of Belonia under South Tripura district after a mysterious incident, but on the way to GB Hospital, housewife died due to her critical burn injuries.
Sources said that Anup Rudra Paul (35) and his wife Gita Paul (25) were shifted to their neighbours at Santirbazar hospital with critical burn injuries on Thursday morning and after primary treatment, both injured husband-wife were referred to GB Hospital. But, on the way to hospital housewife Gita Paul succumbed to death due to her critical burn injuries and her husband was admitted to the burn ward of the hospital.
Family members of both husband-wife alleged that they suffered burn injuries from LPG cylinder, but doctors on duty at GB Hospital claimed that they noticed kerosene oil in the bodies of both persons. While, after informing the police, the on duty doctor shifted the body of Gita Paul to hospital morgue for autopsy.
