A one-month internship programme for 100 law students of ICFAI University, Tripura, concluded on Friday with a seminar on 'Constitution and Rule of Law' at the Agartala Press Club. The programme was organized by Asha Academy for Legal Skill Development and Research, an initiative of the Consumer Protection Association.

The internship was designed to provide practical exposure to various aspects of legal education, including constitutional studies, legal research, advocacy skills, and contemporary issues relating to law and governance. It aimed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical legal understanding while enhancing professional skills and constitutional awareness among aspiring legal professionals.

The valedictory programme was attended by several eminent academicians and legal experts, including Dean of the Faculty of Law at ICFAI University Dr. Nabarun Bhattacharya, Dr. Debabrata Roy, Dr. Swarup Mukherjee, and Dr. Shubhalakshmi Mukherjee. Addressing the gathering, the speakers underscored the importance of constitutional values, the rule of law, protection of democratic institutions, justice, accountability, and responsible citizenship in strengthening the nation's legal framework.

As part of the concluding programme, a speech competition on the theme 'Constitution and Rule of Law' was organized. Bidipta Roy secured the first prize, while Nabajit Ghosh and Sourav Pal won the second and third prizes, respectively.

Another competition titled 'Speech on Internship Experience' was also held. Nabajit Ghosh emerged as the winner, followed by Tushi Tripura in second place and Sourav Pal in third.

Certificates of Internship Completion were presented to all 100 participants in recognition of their successful completion of the month-long programme.

The internship programme was conducted under the guidance of Advocate Amrit Lal Saha, with the support of Chief Coordinator Rinku Sarkar, Assistant Chief Coordinator Mriganka Das, and a dedicated team of volunteers.
