Indra Sena Reddy Nallu to be new Governor of Tripura
The President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu appoints Indra Sena Reddy Nallu as Governor of Tripura replacing Satyadeo Narain Arya.
Official communiqué said that the President of India has also appointed former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das as Governor of Odisha.
Newly appointed Tripura governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu is BJP leader from Telangana state.
The communiqué added that President Droupadi Murmu is pleased to make the appointments that will take effect from the dates they assume charge of their respective offices. Raghubar Das, currently a national vice president of the BJP, was the chief minister of Jharkhand from 2014 to 2019.
