Kamal Cup Cricket Tournament becomes symbol of community Spirit: CM

Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha officially inaugurated the final match of the Kamal Cup cricket tournament today.

During the opening ceremony of the final match, Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha thanked the organizers of the competition.

He also highly praised the initiative of Ram Prasad Pal, Deputy Speaker of the State Assembly and MLA of Suryamani Nagar Assembly Constituency.

Dr. Saha mentioned that the present state government is continuously working for the public interest.

“I want to thank MLA and Deputy Speaker Ram Prasad Pal for such an innovative idea. Amid the excitement and enthusiasm of hundreds of spectators, I inaugurated the final match of the Kamal Cup cricket tournament at Amtali school ground today. This tournament has gained popularity in the last few years. The enthusiasm among our Yuba Shakti for cricket is undoubtedly a good sign for society,” he said.

Banik Brothers and Neeljyoti Travels faced each other in the final of the Kamal Cup cricket competition held at Amtali School ground.

In the final, Neeljyoti Travels defeated Banik Brothers to win the championship title.

The champion, Neeljyoti Travels, was awarded a Tata Tiago car and a trophy, while the runners-up, Banik Brothers, received Rs 50,000 and a trophy.

Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Tinku Roy, Tripura Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Ramprasad Pal, Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder, MLA Mina Rani Sarkar, Social activist Rajib Bhattacharya, and others were present at the opening ceremony of the final match of the competition.
