Man suffered critical rib injuries after speeding train dashed him
A sexagenarian man, who was busy with his evening walk near the railway track at Icha Bazar area under West Agartala police station on Friday afternoon was dashed by a speeding train and suffered critical injuries.
Police sources said that one Hanich Miah (60) of West Dukli area, by profession a mason, on Friday afternoon walking near the railway track and inadvertently went inside the track area and all of sudden, he was dashed by a speeding passenger train, which was moving towards Jirania from Agartala railway station.
After the incident, local people rushed to the spot and they with help of firefighters shifted Hanich Miah to GB Hospital.
Hospital sources said that Hanich Miah is now out of danger, but suffered very critical rib injuries.
