Massive victory in Panchayat polls reflect people’s faith in BJP, CM

After securing landslide victory in three-tier Gram Panchayat elections, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha congratulated the people of the state and claimed that the massive mandate of people reflects their faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Dr Saha, who was giving rousing welcome at BJP headquarters in Agartala on Tuesday evening by party’s state unit president Rajib Bhattarcharjee and other leaders said that massive victory in 97% seats in Gram Panchayat elections once again reflect the faith of people over pro-people activities of both state and central governments.

The Chief Minister accompanied by BJP state president and former Chief Minister and incumbent MP, Biplab Kumar Deb speaking with media persons said people of the state once again repose their faith over the functioning of ‘double-engine’ governments.

“The massive victory in Gram Panchayat elections reflects trust on welfare activities by Prime Minister Narendra Modi ,” said Dr Saha and added that thousands of party workers across the state are continuously working to extend all government benefits to the people in the last row.

“The country has achieved great heights today under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Tripura government is also striving to move the state forward in the direction guided by the Prime Minister. The government is working towards the overall development of Tripura by improving all sectors, including health, education, agriculture, and sports” said Dr Saha.

He emphasized the efforts of BJP workers and appealed to them to continue their welfare activities for upliftment of societies, which will strengthen the party also. Dr Saha also hoped that in coming elections, BJP will secure 100% victory with support of state’s people.
