Meritorious student gets help from CM
The Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha handed over a cheque of Rs 50,000 to Rohan Datta for his higher studies on Monday. The financial help was done by the AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder and cheque has been handed over to Rohan at Civil Secretariat.
Rohan Datta is a resident of Khilpara in Udaipur and he is a meritorious student who has got success in the Joint Entrance Examination this year and got a chance to take admission in NIT, Agartala where he would pursue Mechanical Engineering. However, due to lack of money, he was unsure of what to do and things seemed to be quite dark.
When, Rohan Datta informed the entire matter to the Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha through a letter and requested for help. When the matter was discussed as to how governmental help can be provided to him , then AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder assured that he will provide financial help to him.
Accordingly the money through a Cheque was handed over to him in presence of Dipak Majumder and encouraged him to build a bright future and study hard. The Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha in his social media post shared the event and urged the common people of the state to help meritorious students like him and it will help to form beautiful Tripura.
