The Tripura government has appointed senior IAS officer Shantanu as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) with additional charges of Principal Secretary of Food and Civil Supplies department.
In a notification issued on June 8th by the General Administration (Personnel and Training) department of state government said that Shri Shantanu, a 1997-batch IAS officer of the Tripura cadre, has been repatriated from central deputation and posted as Principal Secretary to the Government of Tripura in the Higher Administrative Grade (HAG) at Level 15 of the Pay Matrix.
In addition to his responsibilities as Principal Secretary, Shantanu has been entrusted with the additional charge of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department. He will also serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the TTAADC.
The notification stated that Raval Hemendra Kumar (IAS), who was holding the additional charge of CEO of the TTAADC, will be relieved of the responsibility upon Shantanu's assumption of office.
The notification further mentioned that K. Sasikumar (IFS) has been relieved of the charge of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department.
The government said the administrative reshuffle has been made in the interest of public service and took immediate effect.
