NEEPCO, Agartala observed Swachata Hi Seva-2025 campaign

Employees of NEEPCO, Ramchandranagar of Agartala, took the Swachhata Pledge at the onset of Swachata Hi Seva-2025 campaign at its Power Plant and organized a tree plantation program under the theme “Ek Ped MaaKe Nam” as part of observance of Swacchata Hi Seva :2025 at Shiva Temple compound, Banikya Chowmuhani on Wednesday (September 17)

As per guideline of Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) and the Development of Drinking Water & Sanitation (DDWS), Ministry of Jal Shakti , campaign of Swachhata Hi Seva(SHS) 2025 will observe by NEEPCO up to of October 2nd, 2025 under the theme SWACHHOTSAB.

Various activities under the five key pillars of SHS: 2025 including transformation of cleanliness target unit (CTU), Clean Public Spaces, Safai Mitra Suraksha Sivirs, Eco-friendly celebrations, advocacy for Swachata like Nukkad Natak shall be undertaken.

Huge numbers of local people above hundred witnessed and participated in the tree plantation programme. Pledge on Swachhta Hi Seva was taken by the employees of NEEPCO and local people in Hindi and Bengali language.

Jeetendra Lal Das , Head of Power station, NEEPCO, Agartala highlighted the purpose of the Swachata Hi Seva Campaign and importance of tree plantation programme.

Saplings were presented to aged women to dedicate the campaign of Swachhta Hi Seva and also distributed flower pots to all the women, girls and children present in the program.

Team of AgGBPS, NEEPCO, Agartala conveyed their appreciation and gratitude to the local people for their whole-hearted cooperation and support for organizing the program successfully.
