New Tripura Governor to take oath on Oct 26, outgoing Governor given farewell ‘guard of honour’
The outgoing Governor of Tripura Satyadeo Narain Arya has given a farewell ‘guard of honour’ during a programme held at Raj Bhavan in Agartala on Tuesday.
While, new Tripura Governor(designate) Indra Sena Reddy Nallu will give a rousing reception on Wednesday (October 25) afternoon at New Raj Bhavan of Tripura in presence of Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, Chief secretary, DGP, cabinet members and other dignitaries. He will also be given a formal guard of honour at Raj Bhavan.
Indra Sena Reddy Nallu will take the oath as new Governor of Tripura on Thursday (October 26) morning during swearing-in-ceremony to be held at the new Raj Bhavan.
Earlier, on October 18, the President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu appointed Indra Sena Reddy Nallu as Governor of Tripura replacing Satyadeo Narain Arya.
Official communiqué said that the President of India has also appointed former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das as Governor of Odisha. Newly appointed Tripura governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu is BJP leader from Telangana state.
