Nurses are the essential part of health services, CM
The nurses are the vital part of health services across Tripura and their compassionate services are always attributed with the fame of health institutions, said Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha.
Addressing at the Lamping light & Oath taking ceremony of 1st Batch of B.Sc Nursing at Agartala Govt. Nursing college at IGM Hospital on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said that nurses are the ambassadors of health service and today’s oath taking will be fulfilled if the new graduates render their services to ailing patients with humanitarian touches.
Highlighting the life of Florence Nightingale, Chief Minister, a nurse through their education, skill and responsible behavior can contribute towards the path given by the world’s greatest nurse Florence Nightingale.
He said that nurses of Tripura now achieved fame across Tripura along with nurses of South India and from Manipur state.
Earlier, the students of Tripura to go outside of the state to complete their B.Sc(Nursing), now the students are getting the higher education facilities with all modern educational infrastructures, said Dr Saha and added that the present government has emphasis on health, education and communication sectors to improve the life in Tripura. He also advised the newly graduated students to become good human beings and should always give their best for the betterment of humankind.
During the programme, the vice-chancellor of Tripura University Prof. Dr Ganga Prasad Prosain, principal of AGMC Prof. Dr Anup Kumar Saha, director of Health and Family Welfare department Dr Anjan Das and director of Health Services Dr Supriyo Mallik were also present.
