One Bangladeshi woman with 3 Indian traffickers arrested from North Tripura
Once again on Friday, security forces arrested four including a Bangladeshi woman and Indian human traffickers from bordering Dharmanagar town under North Tripura district.
BSF sources said that during investigation process over infiltration of a Bangladeshi woman, the jawans on Thursday detained one Mrs Happy Deb (25) of Bangladesh with her five months old kid, her husband Krishna Chandra Deb (26) of Bhaighyapur village of Dharmanagar, Almach Miah (51) and Anjana Das (45) of Yakubnagar.
Sources said that during investigation over infiltration of a Bangladeshi woman through Ragna border with help of Indian traffickers, BSF Inspector Milan Kumar with jawans detained toutMalmach Maih and based on his interrogation statement, they also detained other Indian traffickers from broder villages.
BSF sources added that arrested Bangladeshi woman Happy Deb confessed that she was a resident of Moulvibazar district of Bangladesh and had married to Krishna Chandra Deb about one and half years ago. Recently, she went to her native country to visit her mother house and again returned back to India with the help of two traffickers.
On Friday morning BSF handed over all four detained persons to Dharmanagar police station for further legal action.
Police added that they has registered a specific case under sections of the Passports Act, the Foreigners Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and all arrested persons including Bangladeshi woman were produced before a local court on Friday and court sent Mrs Happy Deb into jail custody upto May 16 next and three Indian were granted bail.
