Overwhelming response in rallies reflects support for PM Modi: CM
Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha on Wednesday said that the overwhelming support witnessed in election campaign rallies signifies the massive support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP.
Dr Saha said this while leading a significant election rally at Pabiacherra in Kumarghat in support of BJP candidate Kriti Singh Debbarma.
"The recent massive rally held at Pabiacherra for the second phase of elections and in support of BJP candidate Kriti Singh Debbarma showcased the affection people have for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the West parliamentary constituency election, we witnessed over an 80% voter turnout, and we are optimistic that the same enthusiasm will be seen in the East seat as well. This election holds importance in safeguarding the country and maintaining the momentum of development," said Dr. Saha.
He emphasized that this election would contribute to realizing PM Modi's vision of a developed India by 2047.
"During his recent visit to Agartala, he mentioned that his work over the last 10 years was just a trailer, with the main picture yet to come. The massive turnout at the Kumarghat rally is testament to this. We have received overwhelming responses, and we are confident that BJP will secure victory in 370 seats," he added. During the event, BJP Pradesh President Rajib Bhattacharya, MLA Bhagaban Das, and other leaders were present.
