PM virtually dedicates many infrastructural projects at Central Sanskrit University, Tripura
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday dedicated (virtually) to the nation Academic, Administrative, Library block, Boys and Girls hostels, Guest house and Staff quarters of Central Sanskrit University, Ekalavya Campus.
This construction project was worth Rs. 100.83 crore. On this occasion, Chief Minister of Tripura Prof (Dr.) Manik Saha remained present physically at Lembucherra premise of Central Sanskrit University.
In his address, Dr Saha brought into light positive initiatives taken by the government in enhancing the scope of quality education with proper infrastructural development and regarded Central Sanskrit University, Ekalavya Campus as an asset in disseminating quality education here in the Northeast. Further, he opined that proper sustenance of human resource is only possible if the competence of this human resource is channelized towards self-reliance and expressed his hope that Central Sanskrit University, Ekalavya Campus will strive towards career centric knowledge inculcation in students’ mind in Tripura.
Chief Minister in social media post said that “Glad to attend virtual inauguration/ foundation stone laying of various infrastructure projects worth Rs. 13,300 crore in Education & Skill sectors including Central Sanskrit University, Ekalavya campus in Tripura by Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji today.
This is a monumental step towards strengthening the Education sector & it reflects the Hon'ble PM's goal for holistic education.”
Ms. Pratima Bhoumik, Union minister of State, Social Justice and Empowerment also graced the dais as Special Guest. In her address, Ms. Pratima Bhoumik highlighted the progressive nature of the present government in all sectors and explained various positive reformative initiatives taken by the present government in the education sector. Rajesh Bhagwani, Chief Engineer, CPWD, Tripura, also remained present as Special Guest. Prof. R.G. Murali Krishna, Registrar in-charge of Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi attended this inaugural session and delivered the welcome address whereas Prof. Prabhat Kumar Mohapatra, Director of Central Sanskrit University, Ekalavya Campus, expressed his heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the University to all the dignitaries through vote of thanks. At the end, this inaugural session ended with the National Anthem.
