Reckless riding: 3 falls from flyover, one dies, 2 seriously injured

In a burning instance of reckless motorbike riding, one youth was killed and two others sustained critical injuries, when trio in a motorbike with heavy speed crashed with a pillar of Agartala’s lone flyover and strait fell on the ground road on Tuesday midnight.

In a burning instance of reckless motorbike riding, one youth was killed and two others sustained critical injuries, when trio in a motorbike with heavy speed crashed with a pillar of Agartala’s lone flyover and strait fell on the ground road on Tuesday midnight.

Police sources said that on Tuesday midnight at about 12 AM, the firefighters of Agartala station hearing a heavy sound of crush, rushed to the spot and found that three youths along with a compressed motorbike fell from flyover in the ground road and they were immediately shifted to GB Hospital.

Soon after reaching the hospital, one Karan Debbarma, son of Rajesh Debbarma of TRTC area of Krishnagar died and two of his friends including Debasish Debbarma, son of Bhabesh Debbarma of Kadamtali area under West Agartala police station and another youth identified as Samrat Das , son of Swapan Das of Ramnagar area were admitted to GB Hospital in critical conditions.

Sources said all these youths including the deceased youth Karan were the final year students of MBB College and they met the tragic road accident due to their rash and reckless driving.
