Security forces detained two drug paddlers, seized Ganja worth of Rs. 41 lakh
The Radhanagar Battalion of Agartala sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), seized 103 kilograms Marijuana (Ganja) worth Rs 41 lakh from general area Ambassaof Dhalai district on Tuesday.
Assam Rifles sources said that based on the credible information, a joint operation was launched by Radhanagar Battalion and staff of Ambassa police station. The team apprehended two individuals along with 103 kg Marijuana worth approximately Rs. 41 lakh and seized one light motor Vehicle.
Apprehended individuals along with seized contents were handed over to Ambassa police station for further investigation and legal proceedings. Assam Rifles highlighted it's commitment towards drug free society.
