Seventeen police officers transferred, SDPOs Sadar, NCC, Amtali replaced 

In a major administrative reshuffle, altogether 17 police officers including an IPS officer transferred and posted at different wings of state’s police department.

A notification issued by the General Administration (Personnel and Training) department of Tripura government on Sunday said that incumbent SP(MTF) Prabir Majumder (IPS) transferred and posted as AIGP(Welfare) at police headquarters by replacing  TPS-Grade-I officer Kishan Kumar, who will now look after the charges of SP(MTF).

Three more TPS Gr-I officers including Prasenjit Ghosh, incumbent commandant of 15th battalion TSR has been posted as Commandant of ACH Rama Rao training centre and present commandant of ACH Rama Rao Training centre, Rajib Sengupta  has been posted as Commandant of 15th battalion TSR.

The present additional SP of Khowai district Rajib Sutradhar transferred as additional SP of Sepahijala district.

Prabir Paul, incumbent additional SP of Sepahijala district has been transferred as additional SP of Khowai district.

Among the prominent TPS-Grade-II officers, the SDPOs of NCC, Sadar, Jirania, Mohanpur and  Sabroom were transferred.

SDPO (NCC) Paramita Pandey transferred as Dy SP (SB), SDPO(Sadar) Deba Prasad Roy transferred as Dy. SP(SB) and newly posted SDPO(Amtali) Prasun Kanti Tripura transferred as assistant commandant of 13th battalion TSR.
