Six children from Tripura to represents India at Intl Arithmetic competition in Cambodia

Altogether six children aged between 4 to 14 years from Tripura will represent Indian at the upcoming ‘ALOHA Abacus and mental Arithmetic International Competition’ to be held on Sunday (July 20) at PH grand hall, Phnom Penh of Cambodia.
Ranabir Roy, managing director of Aloha mental Arithmetic, Northeast through a press statement said that this prestigious event will witness participation from children across 17 countries, solving 70 arithmetic sums in just 5 minutes, showcasing exceptional mental agility and concentration.
He said that on July 21st, six participants from Tripura will meet the Ambassador of India to Cambodia, recognizing their achievements and representing the spirit of northeast India on a global platform.
Tripura has a proud legacy of participation in international arithmetic competitions and in 2017, children from Tripura participated in Bangladesh and Malaysia. Selected children participated in Bangladesh and Russia in 2018, again in Bangladesh and China in 2019, Bangladesh again in 2020 and in 2023 participated in the competitions held at Malaysia in 2023.
Ranabir Roy said that the participants for the Cambodia competition in 2025 are Sokat Gurung, Bizu Chakma, Chayanika Debnath, Seanan Debbarma, Sristica Chowdhury and Nonda Chakma.
