Six senior Tripura police, civil officers transferred
In a minor administrative reshuffle, six senior TPS and TCS officers including two SPs and one TSR commandant were transferred and posted different wings of state administration.
In two different notifications issued by the General Administration (Personnel and Training) department of Tripura government on Friday (July 5th) said that incumbent SP of GRP, Amitabha Pal has been transferred as SP(Security) of Tripura police by replacing present SP(Security) Kishore Debbarma, who will now look after the charges of SP(GRP).
The present commandant of 5th battalion TSR, Ananta Das has been transferred as AIGP (Law and Order) in police headquarters by replacing Jyotisman Das Chaudhuri, who is now given the charge of Commandant of 5th battalion TSR. All these officers are from TPS-Grade-I.
In another transferred order, Jayanta Dey (TCS-SSG), present ADM and Collector of Sepahijala district, who has been transferred as Director of Youth Affairs and Sports on July 3rd is hereby stayed.
The transferred of another TCS Grade-I officer, Subrata Majumder has also stayed and Pradipu Kumar Den (TCS-SSG) director of Minorities Welfare department with an additional charges of Director of Youth Affairs and Sports, who has been relieved from the charges of director of Youth Affairs and Sports, now will continue the charges of Director of same department.
