TBSE announces Madhyamik, HS exam dates, start from March 1st, 2024
Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has released the date sheet for both examinations for Madhyamik and Higher Secondary (HS+2), Madrassa Fazil Arts and Theology examinations-2024 , which will begin from March 1st, 2024.
Addressing a press conference at Board office on Tuesday afternoon TBSE president Dr Dhananjoy Gon Choudhury accompanied by board secretary Dr Dulal Dey said that Higher Secondary (HS+2), Madrassa Fazil Arts and Theology examinations will begin from March 1st across the state and the examinations for Madhyamik and Madrassa Alim start from March 2nd across the state.
Dr Gon Choudhury said that the board has completed all preparation for successful completion of all board examinations. Meanwhile, both Madhyamik and HS examinations will end on March 30, 2023 next.
He said that the number of candidates for both Madhyamik and HS examinations has decreased as 120 Vidyajyoti schools are now under the CBSE.
Altogether 38,531 candidates will appear for Madhyamik examinations from 1099 schools from all eight districts of the state. This year, the board has set up 69 examination centers and 144 venues for Madhyamik examinations.
Similarly, a total of 27,608 candidates will appear for Higher Secondary examinations from 423 schools and the board has set up 60 examination centers and 98 venues for HS exams, said Dr Gon Choudhury.
He added that in the examinations for 2023, a total of 43,730 candidates had appeared from Madhyamik and 38, 125 more candidates had also appeared from HS examinations.
