TBSE president Dr Bhabtosh Saha resigns citing personal reason
The incumbent president of Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) and educationist Dr Bhabatosh Saha has resigned from his post citing personal reasons and old-age problems.
Dr Bhabotosh Saha speaking with this reporter said that a month ago he had submitted a letter to the Education department with an appeal to relieve from his post for personal reasons, but till date the department did not reply to anything.
Finally, on Monday he submitted his resignation to the Secretary of TBSE with a copy to the Director of School Education department. He has also communicated his decision to resign to the higher authorities including the state secretariat.
He said that someone will definitely replace him and till he comes, he has been requested to continue in the post . He also hoped that soon the government will appoint a suitable person for the prestigious post for the overall welfare of the state's students.
