TBSE’s Higher Secondary and Madhyamik exams from February 25 and 26
The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) announced the examination schedules for the Higher Secondary (Class 12) and Madhyamik (Class 10) from February 25 and 26 next year, respectively.
Addressing a press conference at Board office in Agartala on Monday afternoon, TBSE’s president Dr Dhananjay Gan Chowdhury said that the Class 12 board examinations will begin from February 25, 2026 and continue till March 30. The Class 10 examinations will start from February 26 and continue till March 24. The schedule of the Madrasa Alim examinations will be similar to that of the Madhyamik examinations. The Madrasa Fazil arts examinations will begin on February 25 and continue till March 23, and the Madrasa Fazil Theology examinations will be held from February 25 to March 16.
The HS (+2) examinations will begin with English, followed by Bengali, Hindi, Kokborok, and Mizo languages on February 27; Sanskrit, statistics, and Arabic on March 2; business studies, education and physics on March 7; psychology on March 9; geography on March 11; accountancy, biology and history on March 13; economics on March 16; chemistry and political science on March 18; mathematics and philosophy on March 23; sociology on March 25; computer science and music on March 28; and vocational subjects on March 30.
The Madhyamik examinations will also begin with English, followed by social science (history and political science) and social science (economics and geography) on March 6; Bengali, Hindi, Kokborok, and Mizo languages on March 10; science (biology) and science (physics and chemistry) on March 14; mathematics (basics) and mathematics (standard) on March 19; and vocational subjects on March 24.
Speaking in the press meet, TBSE Secretary Dr Dulal Dey said that altogether 38,135 students have so far enrolled for the Madhyamik examinations and 29,943 students for the HS exams and there are possibilities that the figures may rise.
He said the practical examinations would begin on November 17 and continue till December 1.
He added that the online portal of TBSE is open now and it will remain open this month. The students can register their names for the board examinations, said Dr Dey.
Last year, over 21,000 HS (+2) students and over 30,000 Madhyamik students appeared for the respective examinations.
