Three deaths in Udaipur including electric worker, youth, housewife
In three separate incidents, three persons were killed in different areas of Udaipur town on Wednesday.
Sources said that when a worker was busy with restoration of power supply and when he climbed to the top of an electric pillar, suddenly, the pillar broke and the worker identified as Raju Debnath fell to the ground at Garji-Tailani area of Udaipur. Later, firefighters shifted him to Gomati district hospital, where a visiting doctor declared him dead.
In another incident, when two youths with makeshift boat made of banana trees gone for catching fish at Sukhsagar area of Khilpara, their makeshift boat and its bamboo accidently connected 32-KV electric transmission line, as a result two youths identified as Mofazzal Hussain (22) and Arif Hussain (20) electrocuted. They were rescued and shifted to Gomati district hospital, where Mofazzal Hussain was declared dead, while, another injured youth was admitted to hospital in critical condition.
In the third incident, a housewife was allegedly killed by her husband on Tuesday night. The family members of the victim housewife on Wednesday alleged that her husband killed her.
