Three human traffickers including a Bangladesh arrested
Based on the interrogation statements of arrested Bangladeshi, police have managed to arrest three human traffickers and touts including a Bangladeshi from two different parts of Agartala on Wednesday.
Government Railway Police (GRP) personnel posted at Agartala Railway station arrested one Bangladeshi tout from bordering Joynagar area of Agartala, identified as Anikul Shaikh (42) of Chapai Nababganj district of Bangladesh, who was involved with many human trafficking incidents.
In another successful raid, Amtali police station on Wednesday arrested two more Indian border touts, identified as Mubarak Miah and Mukabar Ali of Belabar area under same police station, who were actively involved with human trafficking incidents and help Bangladeshi and Rohingyas to enter into Indian territory.
Police sources said that all arrested touts were actively involved with human trafficking and they helped many Bangladeshi and Rohingyas to enter Indian territory without any valid documents.
