The NEET-UG examination will be conducted across 10 centres in Tripura on June 21 next, with one centre located in Dhalai district and nine centres in West Tripura district.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday afternoon, West Tripura District Magistrate (DM) Dr Vishal Kumar informed that around 4,300 candidates will appear for the examination in West Tripura district alone. He said the state government has put in place stringent security measures to ensure the examination is conducted in a fair, transparent, and smooth manner.
According to the District Magistrate, personnel from the state police as well as the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will be deployed at the examination centres. He also stated that the question papers have been stored in a highly secure and confidential location to prevent any breach of security.
Dr Kumar further added that candidates must reach their respective examination centres between 11 AM and 1:30 PM. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall after the stipulated reporting time.The examination will be held from 2 PM to 5:15 PM.
The press conference was also attended by NEET City Coordinator Dharmendra Mishra, the Commandant of the Railway Protection Force (RPF), and other senior officials.
