A delegation from Tipra-Motha, led by its President Bijoy Kumar Hrangkhwal met the  Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha at his official residence in Agartala  and  submitted a memorandum outlining various demands. The delegation included Central Working Committee members Mevar Kumar Jamatia and Rajeshwar Debbarma.

The memorandum's key demands include the synchronization of village committee elections with the Panchayat elections, the appointment of three ministers with cabinet rank including the position of Deputy Chief Minister, and the allocation of all posts of BAC Chairman within the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC). Additionally, they requested the chairmanship of 15 to 20 out of 36 state corporations and the formation of a Joint Working Committee.

After the meeting Rajeshwar Debbarma said they have requested the Chief Minister to accept these demands as committed in the tripartite agreement earlier signed between the centre, state and the Tipra-Motha leaders. He also said they had a cordial discussion with the Chief Minister.
