Tripura Cabinet create 1876 posts including teachers, engineers
Tripura cabinet in an important decision to reduce the scarcity of school teachers has created 1566 posts for graduate and under-graduate teacher posts under the School education department.
After cabinet meeting briefing media, Transport and Tourism Minister Sushanta Chwodhury at Civil Secretariat on Friday afternoon said that altogether 1,566 posts for graduate and under-graduate teachers has been created and government will fill up these posts through recruitment drive by Teachers' Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT).
He said that during Thursday’s cabinet meeting under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has also decided to recruit a total of 198 junior engineers under the Rural Development department of the state government through Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC). Among the total 198 posts of junior engineers (Civil), 105 posts are reserved for Degree Engineers and 93 more posts for Diploma Engineers.
The cabinet also decided to appoint 112 Special Educators for 125 Vidyajyoti Schools across Tripura, said Chowdhury and added that the cabinet has created 151 more posts for Warder under the Jail department.
While, Minister said that as per the scrapping policy-2021 of the Union government, Tripura government has also adopted ‘Vehicle Scrapping Policy’ and under this scheme, all 15 years old government vehicles will be scrapped. A total of 412 government vehicles will also be scrapped gradually to ensure fuel efficiency and a green environment.
He said that the owners of the private cars can take the advantages of this police after 20 years of their respective cars.
