The Directorate of Information Technology (DIT) of Tripura government on Monday conducted a workshop to strengthen and streamline the implementation of its Weekly Review System (WRS), an initiative aimed at ensuring timely and systematic updates of government department websites.
The workshop, held at the Smart Training Centre of the Directorate of Information Technology, was chaired by Director of IT, Jeya Ragul Geshan B, and attended by concerned nodal officers responsible for managing departmental websites.
The Weekly Review System (WRS), launched on December 4, 2024, was introduced to facilitate regular monitoring and prompt updating of government websites. The system is designed to improve transparency, enhance public access to accurate information, and make government websites more citizen-friendly and responsive.
Officials said the WRS application enables departments to process website update requests more efficiently, ensuring that relevant and up-to-date information is consistently made available to the public.
During the workshop, participants reviewed the functioning of the WRS and discussed measures to further strengthen its implementation across government departments. The session focused on the effective use of the application for timely content management, monitoring, and the smooth operation of departmental websites.
The Directorate of Information Technology stated that the initiative reflects the state government's commitment to improving digital governance and enhancing the quality and reliability of online public services through better website management.
