Tripura’s renowned Longtharai company successfully completes its “Hailakandi Retailers’ Meet 2025”
Under the initiative of Longtharai, the “Hailakandi Retailers’ Meet 2025” was successfully held at the Hailakandi Municipal Town Hall through a delightful blend of cultural performances and well-organized discussions.
The chief guest of the event was Mr. Manab Chakraborty, Chairman of the Hailakandi Municipal Board. Among the distinguished guests were Mr. Bhagwan Sharda, President of the Hailakandi Merchant Association, and Mr. Sudip Paul, Secretary. The special guest for the event was Mr. Biswajit Nath, President of the Hailakandi Distributors’ Association.
Representing Longtharai, the event was attended by the company’s founder Mr. Ratan Debnath, General Manager Mr. Subrata Debnath, Zonal Marketing Manager Mr. Palash Sarkar, and other officials.
The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the guests, followed by a collective rendition of the national anthem. This was followed by a traditional opening dance performed by local artists, which was both captivating and emotionally stirring.
In his welcome address, Mr. Palash Sarkar highlighted the purpose and significance of the event. Mr. Chakraborty, the chief guest, in his speech, remarked that Longtharai’s continued growth is a matter of pride for the entire Northeast region. Special guest Mr. Biswajit Nath praised the company’s consistent progress and urged retailers to play a more active role in market expansion. Mr. Bhagwan Sharda and Mr. Sudip Paul, in their brief remarks, wished Longtharai continued success and encouraged collaboration between the company and the retailers.
In his address, Longtharai’s founder Mr. Ratan Debnath shared insights into the company’s current status, product quality, and future plans. He encouraged retailers to increase the market presence of Longtharai products and assured them of full support in case of any difficulties.
One of the major attractions of the event was the lucky draw and prize distribution segment, which generated significant excitement among the attendees. Over 200 retailers were present at the event, and their enthusiasm and engagement were clearly evident. Gifts were also presented to those who had successfully completed sales schemes in the past year. The entire Retailers’ Meet was presided over by Mr. Prafulla Chandra Debnath.
