Two dacoits involved in sensational Dharmanagar dacoity incident arrested
Two dacoits involved with the sensational dacoity incident committed at a house in Churaibari area of North Tripura by wearing attires of TSR on last Saturday were arrested by North Tripura district police.
Police sources said that on Wednesday, the investigation team of dacoity incident committed at the house of one Sadhan Deb of Govindapur Gram Panchayat on last Saturday night managed to arrest two infamous dacoits identified as Kabil Hussain (28) and Jamir Uddain (42) of Kadamtala area of North Tripura.
Both arrested dacoits along with their other armed team members on Saturday night raided the house of Sadhan Deb wearing clothes of TSR and looted all valuable items including gold and cash from that house.
Later, a police team of Churabari police station led by SP(North) Avinash Roy started investigation and within four days of the crime, they managed to arrest these two infamous dacoits, who were previously also involved in many snatching and dacoity incidents in different parts of the district.
Police said that on Friday they were produced before a local court with police remand appeals and court sent them for three days police remand.
Police sources said that both arrested dacoits during police interrogation have confessed their involvement in the dacoity incident held at the house of Sadhan Deb. Police said that soon they will; able to arrest other miscreants of the gang involved with the dacoity incident of Govindapur.
