Unknown body recovered from Lake Chowmuhani
An unknown body of a vagabond recovered in mysterious condition under the building of ST Corporation in Lake Chowmuhani area of Agartala on Wednesday evening.
Sources said that local people on Wednesday evening noticed that a man was lying under the office building of ST Corporation in an unconscious mood and in mysterious condition.
They immediately called Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) number 112 and within minutes, police personnel from ERSS rushed to the spot and after seeing the condition of the man, they informed firefighters. When firefighters arrived at the spot, they noticed that the unknown man was already dead; who was locally known as vagabond and shifted his body to GB Hospital, where doctors also declared him brought dead.
Police sources said that they cannot say anything specifically over the nature of the death till the finding of autopsy.
