Valedictory Session of National Workshop on Hindu Law held at CSU, Ekalavya Campus
Seven day long National Workshop on Hindu Law organized by the Faculty Development Centre of CSU, Ekalavya Campus ended on Saturday within the auspicious presence of Prof. Jayakrishna Mishra, Former Professor and Head of PG Dept. of Dharmashastra, Jagannath Sanskrit University, Puri.
As the keynote speaker of the session he highlighted the contribution of Dharmashastra in encoding and decoding Hindu Law. Further he opined that more extensive research work on Dharmashastra will contribute in incorporating more enriching and enlightening ideas embedded in our Shastras in the present judiciary system to make it more human-centric. Prof.Brajakishore Swain, former Professor of Shri Jagannath Sanskrit University, Puri, also graced the session. This valedictory session was presided over by Prof.Prabhat Kumar Mohapatra, Director of Central Sanskrit University, Ekalavya Campus, Agartala and applauded the successful completion of the proceedings of this workshop. The Coordinator of this workshop was Soumyajyoti Saha, Assistant Professor (Dharmashastra) whereas the stage coordination of the valedictory session was done by Sri Bikash Sarkar, Assistant Professor (Dharmashastra).
