Villagers detained 3 drug addicted with their asylum lady
In a united effort, the local villagers of border Rajnagar area under West Agartala police station destroyed a den of drug and other anti-social activities. The villagers have also detained the kingpin woman and three drug addicted youth from her house.
Sources said that one woman identified as Jashmin Akhtar has been running a den of drugs and other illegal activities in her house bordering Rajnagar area since past one year. The neighbours and other villagers had noticed many such illegal activities in her house including immoral trafficking and then they lodged their complaint at the local club ‘Rajnagar Samajik Santha’.
On Sunday morning, after villagers noticed illegal activities in her house, all villagers together along with women raided her house and caught red handed three drug addicted youths with vials of Brown Sugar under their possessions.
Later, villagers informed the police and handed over all three drug addicted youths and the asylum lady.
The angry villagers during a local Panchayat meeting have also decided that they will not allow that woman, Jashmin Akhtar in their village again, who was running a drug network in the entire village.
