Agartala Military Station under the aegis of Spear Corps commemorated ‘World Literacy Day’ on Friday (September 6), under the theme “Empowering Literacy for a Changing World” to contribute towards establishing the bedrock for sustainable and harmonious society.
To recognize the transformative power of literacy and foundational learning, a series of events encompassing ‘Inter School Debate Competition’ and screening of documentary film was organized at Agartala Military Station which witnessed the participation from two schools namely Army Public School, Agartala and Kendriya Vidyalaya School, Kunjaban.
Two teams comprising of three members each of class 7th and 8th took part in the competition with full enthusiasm and brainstormed on various important topics.
