Donald Trump set for a comeback as US President, wins key swing states
Washington D.C./IBNS: Republican candidate Donald Trump is set to return as the US President as he is marching towards the majority mark of 270 electoral votes, dashing Vice President Kamala Harris' hope to become the first woman, Black, and Asian-American to lead the nation.

The counting of votes started on November 5 (as per US time) soon after the polling stopped.
As per the latest trends projected by BBC News, Trump is winning in 266 electoral votes as opposed to Harris' 218.
Trump, who ran the country from 2016 to 2020, was voted out of power by Joe Biden in November four years ago.
Declaring victory for himself at a massive gathering, Trump said, "America has given us an unprecedented and powerful mandate. We have taken back control of the Senate."
The Republican candidate is hopeful to take control of the House of Representatives as well.
In his speech, Republican Vice-Presidential candidate JD Vance called Trump's expected win "the greatest political and economic comeback".
Among the seven swing states, Trump has won North Carolina, Georgia and Pennsylvania.
The seven swing states of Pennsylvania, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, and Wisconsin that play a key role in determining the President of the country.
In a completely contrasting picture, Harris called off meeting her supporters as she sensed a feeble chance to walk into the White House.
Americans voted in large numbers on Tuesday to decide who between Republican candidate Donald Trump and Democrat nominee Kamala Harris would occupy the White House next four years, in one of the most hard-fought polls.
The build-up to the final stage of the election has been quite a dramatic one with two assassination attempts at Trump during his campaign phase and Kamala Harris entering the poll race in a surprising move after.
