Go back to your country, Sikh woman told after being raped by two suspects in UK
A Sikh woman was allegedly raped by two men in broad daylight in a park in the British town of Oldbury, an incident which the police described as a "racially aggravated attack".
The suspects reportedly told the woman that she should “go back to your country” during the assault.
The incident occurred at around 8.30 pm on Tuesday.
Ch Supt Kim Madill of Sandwell Police told BBC: "We are working really hard to identify those responsible, with CCTV, forensic and other inquiries well under way."
She said: "We fully understand the anger and worry that this has caused, and I am speaking to people in the community today to reassure them that we are doing everything we can to identify and arrest those responsible."
The first man involved in the crime is said to be white with a shaved head and of heavy build.
According to reports, the second man was also white and was wearing a grey top with a silver zip.
Labour MP Preet Kaur Gill has condemned the incident.
