India, Pakistan have reached full and immediate ceasefire: Donald Trump announces on Truth Social
US President Donald Trump on Saturday wrote on his social media handle that India and Pakistan have agreed to a 'full and immediate ceasefire'.

Trump said the two warring countries reached the agreement after a 'long night of talks mediated by the United States'.
He wrote on Truth Social: "After a long night of talks mediated by the United States, I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a FULL AND IMMEDIATE CEASEFIRE. Congratulations to both Countries on using Common Sense and Great Intelligence. Thank you for your attention to this matter!"
The Indian government has not commented on the issue so far.

Marco Rubio Writes On X

Rubio further said: "I am pleased to announce the Governments of India and Pakistan have agreed to an immediate ceasefire and to start talks on a broad set of issues at a neutral site. "
Pakistan Foreign Minister Confirms
Pakistani Foreign Minister confirmed the development and wrote on X: " Pakistan and India have agreed to a ceasefire with immediate effect. Pakistan has always strived for peace and security in the region, without compromising on its sovereignty and territorial integrity!"

Rubio-Jaishankar Telephonic Conversation
Rubio on Saturday interacted with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar over the telephone when he urged the Indian leader to identify methods to de-escalate the ongoing tension with neighbouring Pakistan.
This is the most intense conflict between the two nuclear-armed neighbours since 1999.
Speaking on the interaction with Rubio, S Jaishankar wrote on X: "Had a conversation with US @SecRubio this morning."

Sharing details about the telephonic conversation, US Department of State said: "Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke with Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar. Secretary Rubio emphasized that both sides need to identify methods to de-escalate and re-establish direct communication to avoid miscalculation."
Rubio proposed US support in facilitating productive discussions to avert future disputes.
