Adani Group to invest Rs 60,000 cr in Madhya Pradesh
Indore (MP): Adani Group will invest over Rs 60,000 crore across several sectors in Madhya Pradesh which would result in thousands of jobs, said Pranav Adani, director at Adani Enterprises on Wednesday.

While speaking at the seventh Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Summit, Pranav Adani said the investment will reshape the economy of many districts, a report in the media said.
The ports-to-power conglomerate has already invested Rs 27,500 crore in Madhya Pradesh in a variety of areas such as power generation and transmission, gas distribution, cement manufacturing, and agro-processing, among others, said the report.
The group plans to make new investments in the sectors and projects including four-laning of a part of NH-47, a gas link project and a micro-irrigation system, he added.
Further, it is aiming to set up mega food parks and six multi-modal logistics parks in Dhar, Guna, Damoh, Ujjain and two in Indore.
There will be an investment of Rs 5,250 crore in the multimodal logistics parks.
Even though it is the second largest cement manufacturer in India, the group has only one plant in the Katni district to support its production line.
In order to augment cement production, Adani Group is planning to set up plants in MP’s Ametha, Dewas and Bhopal at an investment of around Rs 3,500 crore.
The new manufacturing plants will triple the state’s cement manufacturing capacity to 7.5 million tonnes per annum (MTPA).
The Adani Group will invest close to Rs 39,000 crore in renewable energy, he said.
