Newly launched Lightweight 4WD Mahindra OJA 3140 promises to transform puddling operations in West Bengal

Introducing a paradigm shift in the world of tractor design, the new OJA 3140 empowers farmers to achieve more, as it revolves around key attributes like robustness, progressiveness and unmatched functionality, setting new benchmarks for modern farming equipment.
Designed to handle diverse agricultural tasks with stability and traction, the new OJA 3140 comes with 4WD as standard, is light-weight, and built to deliver cutting-edge performance.
Engineered with a 3-cylinder 29.82 kW (40hp) engine @2500 RPM and PTO power at 25.95kW (34.8hp), the OJA provides class leading power delivery and operational efficiency, with a segment first constant mesh gearbox configuration with synchro shuttle and 12 Forward + 12 Reverse gears. The advanced gear system, with a multiple reverse gears enables farmers to work faster and comfortably in smaller farms.
A hydraulic lift capacity of 950 kg the new OJA 3140 tractor enables farmers to perform optimally in orchard farming and puddling operations, with enhanced manoeuvrability courtesy the OJA’s smooth power steering system. Premium to touch and feel, ensures that farmers take pride in their ownership, with the OJA 3140 boasting an optimal overall height, providing farmers with better visibility and a 360-degree view of their work and implements.
With significant emphasis on reducing NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness), ease of service, and enhanced safety during operation, while allowing longer hours of operation.

Derived from the Sanskrit word “Ojas”, meaning Powerhouse of Energy, the new Mahindra 4WD OJA 3140 is based on the new Mahindra OJA series recently launched by Mahindra Tractors, Mahindra’s most ambitious global lightweight tractor platform. Developed in collaboration between the engineering teams of Mahindra Research Valley, India, the R&D centre for Mahindra in India and Mitsubishi Mahindra Agriculture Machinery, Japan, the new OJA range brings about a transformative shift in Light Weight 4WD Tractor design and engineering, to deliver cutting-edge innovation in tractor technology.
After kickstarting its exciting journey in India, the OJA range will subsequently be launched in North America, ASEAN, Brazil, Australia, South Africa, Europe and the SAARC region. Mahindra will also mark its debut in the ASEAN region starting with Thailand in 2024 with the OJA.
