He commented on the backdrop of the recent terror attack in India's Jammu and Kashmir UT, which left 26 people, mostly non-Muslims, dead.
The terror attack in Pahalgam, described as India's 'Mini Switzerland', by Pakistan-backed terrorists left the world shocked and triggered widespread condemnation.
It was the major terror attack reported from the region in past six years.
A large number of tourists were visiting Jammu and Kashmir in the past few years.
India conducted Operation Sindoor on May 7 in response to the attack and targeted several terror hubs in Pakistan and PoK.
Pakistan targeted several Indian cities in the next few days with drones and missiles. India responded by neutralising them.
After four days of escalated tensions, a ceasefire was reached between the two nuclear-armed countries on May 10.
Meanwhile, Jaishankar also appreciated PM Dick Schoof's commitment towards taking India, Netherlands partnership to new levels.
"Appreciate his commitment to taking the India-Netherlands partnership to newer heights. Assured that our teams will work hard to achieve these goals," he said.

He will also visit Denmark and Germany from 19-24 May, 2025 as part of the three-nation tour
"During the visit, EAM will meet the leadership of the three countries and hold discussions with his counterparts on the entire gamut of bilateral relations and regional and global matters of mutual interest," read the statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs.
